Guidelines for abstract submission poster presenters

The deadline for Abstract submission has been extended to April 15th, 2019.
The deadline for Abstract submission is March 15, 2019.

One participant can submit one abstract only.

Abstracts should be structured in sections as follows:

Title: The title should not exceed two lines (approximately 120 characters). Abbreviations should be avoided in the title.

Authors:  Insert the author’s initials, last name

Affiliations: Full name of institution, city, country.

Abstracts should have a maximum of 2500 characters (including spaces; not including the abstract title, authors and affiliations).

Abstracts should include:

  • Brief introduction
  • Aim(s) of the study
  • Material and methods used including statistical analysis methods
  • Results containing real data
  • Conclusions
  • Acknowledgements

References, figures, tables and other illustrations cannot be included.

Authors are required to submit the abstract under one of the congress abstract topics:

  • Clinical research
  • Preclinical research
  • Other topics

All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by a scientific committee.

Authors will be informed of the committee’s decision by e-mail by 20th April 2019.

Abstracts cannot be edited after submission on the online system.

The submitting author is required to ensure that all co-authors agree for their names to support the submission.


Poster Number:

All abstracts will be conferred on abstract/poster number e.g. P22. This will be used on-site for the poster board number.

This poster number will be referenced in the Final Programme and Book of the Abstracts.

The abstracts will be available on the congress website.

Poster session will be held on 6 June 2019. All posters should be prepared in A0 format (80 cm x 120 cm) in a vertical (portrait) orientation. Posters should be setting up before 9.00 on the day of the presentation and removed on the same day between 18:00-18:30.
Paper poster material must be prepared in advance and must be large enough to be viewed from a distance of 90 cm.

All posters must be written entirely in English.

All authors of the posters should be present during the poster session.

Each poster must have a top banner indicating poster number, the title of the abstract, the names of the authors and their affiliations.

 

Posters not removed by the presenters at the set time will be removed by congress staff and thrown away on the same day.

 

The Secretary of Congress cannot accept liability for lost or damaged posters.

Oral presentations will be conducted in the Conference Room S7A and S7B

Please note that all speakers should submit their finalized PowerPoint presentations at the Information Desk during the registration.

The format of the presentation must be 16:9 Horizontal (landscape).
We only accept POWERPOINT for PC, any version. If you use a Mac computer, please save your file as PPT for PC.
